Concept
Women development was established in our college academic year
2002-03 as per guidelines of U G C & University of Mumbai to
prevent and deter the commission of any act of harassment to protect
women’s rights to gender equality and provide and a favorable
environment for work/study within the campus.
Women development Council was established in the academic year
2008-2009. The council includes learners from all programs, classes
and one representatives from them is selected as Women development
Council Secretary. Women development Council helps to develop
leadership qualities and sense of co-ordination among the learners,
The council creates awareness among female learners about
different women related issues like the law of women’s right and to
organize various programs related to development of overall
personality of women learners, health &hygiene awareness for them.
It is platform for female learners to make them aware of their
potential.
